How to Select the Correct Sheet Size

Do not select a silicone paper sheet only by names such as "half sheet" or "full sheet." Commercial pan dimensions differ by equipment type and market, and a liner is often cut slightly smaller than the pan name suggests. For the most reliable fit, provide the actual internal tray dimensions and tell us whether the paper should sit flat inside the tray or extend beyond the edges.

Sprui combines silicone coating, precision sheet cutting and in-house laboratory testing. Inspection is based on the actual sheet specification and intended application, not on visual checks alone.

Numerical dimensional tolerances, GSM tolerances, coating weight and release-force values depend on the specification and are not presented as universal values. If your line requires a numerical target, include it in your RFQ for technical confirmation.

What is the difference between silicone coated paper sheets and jumbo rolls?
Sheets are precut to bakery sizes and ready to use straight from the case, with no cutting equipment needed. Jumbo rolls are raw material for converters who run their own slitting or die-cutting lines. If you are set up to cut your own stock, see our jumbo roll page.

What GSM is available for silicone coated paper sheets?
Sprui sheets cover a 33–60 GSM range. Most commercial baking sheets are 38–45 GSM. Heavier grades of 50–60 GSM suit greasy foods, heavy doughs and repeated handling. Select the grade by sheet size, food weight and processing conditions.

What are the standard sheet sizes?
Published sizes are 13 × 18 in (approx. 33 × 45 cm), 16 × 24 in (approx. 41 × 61 cm) and 400 × 600 mm. Optional sizes include 12 × 16 in, 18 × 26 in and 450 × 750 mm. Custom dimensions are available.

Which size fits a half-sheet or full-sheet pan?
Pan names vary by region, so check the actual pan dimensions. In the US foodservice market, 12 × 16 in is sold as a half-size liner and 16 × 24 in as a full-size liner, while Sprui lists 13 × 18 in for half-sheet pans. Send us your internal pan length and width, and whether you want edge overhang, and we will confirm the size.

Can you make 18 × 13 in, 18 × 26 in or 400 × 600 mm sheets?
Yes. These are available as optional sizes. Provide your actual tray dimensions so the final size can be confirmed.

What is the largest silicone coated paper sheet you can make?
Our large-format silicone coated paper sheet is published at up to 1.3 m wide, with custom length. Confirm the required GSM and dimensions before ordering.

Can I order a completely custom sheet size?
Yes. Provide the exact length and width, or the dimensions of the tray or processing surface. We can also die-cut square and round shapes.

Is silicone paper the same as parchment paper?
Silicone coated paper is the baking parchment most commercial bakeries use. A food-grade silicone layer on the paper gives it a non-stick, grease-resistant surface and heat resistance up to 230°C. Other "parchment" products may use different treatments, so check the coating and temperature rating.
